For almost everyone, credit will, at some point or another, be a part of your life. Learning how to build your credit score is an important life skill. 

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Recognize what credit is, how it works, and the different types of credit
• Understand what credit reports contain and where you can get your own copy
• Identify the importance of your credit score and how your actions can impact it
• Explain the difference in credit scores compared to FICO scores
• Identify what identity theft is and the ways you can protect yourself from it
• Apply proper procedures to dispute incorrect credit terms
