What is Chicago Academy?
The Chicago Community Academy is a full scale learning center right where you live! We are located in the parking lot of the Chatham Walmart on South Stewart Avenue. This facility will host numerous learning opportunities including interview skills, resume building, personal finance, technology and even an HVAC trade training program that will lead to industry recognized certifications. Store Side Grand Opening
Did you know in addition to providing training course to all community members, a portion of the Chicago Community Academy is dedicated to our own Walmart employees (associates) as they learn their roles and build leadership skills. On 3/15, We officially opened this side of the Academy and associates from stores from around Chicagoland will begin arriving to get their learn on!
We are still in the preparation phase for the official grand opening of the community side but that doesnt mean you cant get a glimpse inside. Registration is open now for select courses during our soft opening period. Register today by selecting courses above.
